Systems Test Engineer II

About the role

At RTX, the world's largest aerospace and defense company, Raytheon Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) is seeking a Systems Test Engineer II with experience in system integration. This onsite role is located in Plano, TX and is part of a development team responsible for delivering a complex system of systems to the customer.

Responsibilities

• Operate Radar test equipment and assist in system test execution ensuring the system meets specifications
• Work closely with the team and leadership
• Communicate daily with the test team as well as other engineers associated with test
• Maintain a systems-level perspective while supporting integration, verification, and validation activities
• Analyze system problems and communicate issues to the engineering team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience with system integration and troubleshooting
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued DoD Top Secret security clearance required prior to start date
• U.S. citizenship required (only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance)

• Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM preferred)
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of radar
