Systems Security Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Systems Security Engineer with experience in the design and development of NSA-certified Cybersecurity devices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop specifications for mission-critical NSA-certified Cybersecurity devices
• Collaborate with software and validation engineering teams to deliver high-speed data solutions
• Develop real-time multi-threaded Embedded System architecture using Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and techniques
• Analyze and maintain system security requirements throughout product development lifecycle
• Conduct trade studies, perform functional analysis, and design system security
• Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics field
• 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience
• Department of Defense Secret security clearance required at time of hire
• U.S. citizenship is required

Agile experience preferred.

Qualifications

• NSA approved Cryptography/Encryption
• Security requirements analysis
• Real-Time multi-threaded Embedded System architecture and development
• Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• CISSP certification or similar
• INCOSE ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP certification

Pay

Target salary range: USD $130,617.00/Yr. – USD $145,000.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary.
