What You Will Do
- Cook up the Systems Sales process from initial lead through hand off to project management: process bid requests, update our bid calendar, maintain Salesforce Opportunities module, and create and manage our SharePoint project files.
- Work closely with our National Estimating department to maximize Sales Team bandwidth and project bidding efficiency.
- Collaborate with manufacturers throughout the quote and bid process, confirming lead times, current pricing and specification or consultant credit registrations.
- Prepare, finalize and submit proposals and bids via online portals, USPS, express delivery, or inperson.
- Guide contract documents through Barbizon’s internal review process, ensuring proper insurance and taxexempt documentation is received and filed, project information is up to date, and projects are submitted for manager review in a timely manner.
- Aid our Regional Systems Division Manager with support of our Project Management and Technical Services departments in our Boston and Chicago locations.
- Innovate and implement administrative processes to catapult efficiency and profitability to new heights.
- Create and distribute weekly Systems Sales and Project Management Reports.
- Receive and direct incoming calls to the Systems department, paying special attention to potential sales prospects.
Office Environment
Firstfloor office with open concept to foster communication and collaboration. Significant daily computer use. MS Teams Voice and Teams Video for internal and external support of inoffice and remote employees. Software: Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams), Salesforce CRM, Sage 100 ERP, Adobe Acrobat and Bluebeam.

Pay
The salary range for a Systems Sales Administrator at Barbizon’s Boston $60k to $70k per annum depending upon experience. Please be aware extensive industry experience or specific skills that fully match, or exceed what is required, may in fact increase this range to compensate for that expanded expertise.
