About the role

The Engineering and Sciences organization (E&S) at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems' Baltimore and Partnered Sites (BaPs) division is seeking a Systems Integration & Test (SI&T) Engineer to support test and verification activities of RF sensor systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on integration and testing of sophisticated RF sensor systems, including both hardware and software components in development and production environments.
  • Synthesize internal and external customer needs and requirements into system tests that acknowledge technical and schedule constraints.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for verifying system requirements.
  • Participate in I&T readiness reviews, design reviews, and conduct audits of I&T program facilities.
  • Coordinate integrated testing activities that may include environmental, reliability, and occasional flight tests.
  • Review and evaluate test requirements to ensure completeness of test program.
  • Perform analysis of test results and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Use modeling and simulation tools to expedite testing of individual units before all system components are available and for troubleshooting and repair of failed units.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 4 years of experience, or a PhD with 1 year of experience in a STEM discipline.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance and the ability to obtain/maintain Special Program Access (SAP).
  • US citizenship.
  • Experience with RF lab test equipment: i.e. signal generator, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving HW/SW/FW integration problems.
  • Experience coding in MATLAB to support coding, test scripting, data analysis, and signal processing.
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Experience working a system bench, running acceptance test plans, writing test reports, troubleshooting hardware and software, communicating status updates.
  • Experience with Environmental, EMI/EMC integration and testing.
  • Willingness to work onsite full-time in Baltimore, MD.
  • Willingness to work 4th shift.

Pay

Primary Level Salary Range: $87,600.00 - $131,400.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $108,800.00 - $163,200.00
