Systems Operator_RT

About the role

This position operates all production machinery line systems with minimal supervision, conducts visual inspections, performs general preventive maintenance, sets up and operates line machinery processes, performs quality control sieve testing, bulk density testing, and flow rate measurements. Additionally, operators are responsible for forklift/skid loader operations, trailer jockeying, 6S organization, communication, and cross-training into other job functions.

Responsibilities

• E 40%: Operate All Production Machinery Line Systems With Minimal Supervision
• E 30%: Operate Forklift/Skid Loader Equipment to Move and Transport Raw Material
• E 10%: 6S Organization/Housekeeping
• E 10%: Communication
• S 5%: Pre-shift Scheduling/Planning
• S 5%: Jockey Trailers to and From Docks
• S 5%: Cross Train Into Other Job Functions

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or 4 years of machine operator/manufacturing experience
• Past manufacturing experience operating equipment of similar complexity preferred
• A minimum of 6-months powered industrial truck experience required
• Front end loader experience preferred
• Proven ability to multitask in a stressful environment
• Comfortable with data entry and basic computer skills
• Valid driver's license preferred (for jockeying trailers)

Qualifications

• English fluency (read, write, speak)
• Ability to perform basic math functions
• Read and understand units of measure
• Proven safety consciousness
• Physical demands: prolonged standing, walking, repetitive actions, moving objects, manual dexterity, communication, attention to detail, time management, ability to understand safety policies, and move throughout the work location to comply with safety requirements.
