About the role

Boeing Defense, Space, & Security (BDS) located in Oklahoma City, is seeking Systems Engineers to ensure that systems verification testing meets the verification success criteria.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing existing requirements, verification success criteria, and test directives.
  • Ensuring that the test philosophy will meet the requirements and satisfy the customer.
  • Writing a data analysis plan.
  • Supporting FAA and Military Certification.
  • Leading and supporting cross-functional teams, working groups, program, and customer meetings and technical design reviews.
  • Developing and delivering SEIT products such as architecture models/documents, requirements databases, specifications, reports, etc.
  • Collaborating with customer organizations.
  • Mentoring and coaching (ensuring team understands & executes Boeing processes, ensuring quality of all the team's internal/external deliverables).
  • Traveling periodically to support customer and supplier meetings.
  • Utilizing Model Based Systems Engineering Tools (MSOSA, CAMEO, Rhapsody, DOORS, 3DX, TeamCenter, etc.).

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
  • 2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
  • Experience in System Architecture Development and Modeling tools (CAMEO/MSOSA, Rhapsody).
  • Experience in Requirements Management and tools (i.e. IBM DOORs).
  • Experience in verification & validation of requirements.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and create plans for executing on deliverables.
  • Strong systems thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams and leadership.
  • Experience in ICD development, logical architecture, requirements development, specification development, system functions and SSOW development.
  • Experience in risk, issue, and opportunity management.
  • Experience project engineering and executing system design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR).
  • Experience in systems integration and test including lab integration, ground test, and flight test.
  • Experience in Airworthiness and Certification (including FAA, EASA, Military).
  • INCOSE Certification.
