About the role

The Systems Integration Engineer will work with a dynamic and diverse Systems Integration team that supports the design, configuration, production, certification, and delivery of 787s. The Systems integration team supports large-scale multisystem projects from concept, to integrated testing, certification, production incorporation, and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Supports cross-functional teams through the development and integration of large-scale multi-system projects
  • Work with multiple airplane systems including Environmental Controls Systems, Mechanical Hydraulics, Flight Controls, Electrical Sub-Systems, Electrical Design and Standards, Flight Deck, Cabin Systems, Network Systems, Avionics Systems, and Cyber Security and will lead these teams through a variety of complex projects
  • Collaborate with airplane safety, regulatory administration, and various 787 program teams such as change management, supply chain, production engineering, manufacturing engineering, operations, and delivery centers
  • Implements systems engineering best practices, and process improvements
  • Working knowledge of the aircraft certification process
  • Able to lead by influence outside formal reporting relationships
  • Able to effectively communicate with a diverse engineering team in order to synthesize complex information
  • Strong project management skills
  • Able to communicate technical and project recommendations to executive management
  • Able to travel domestically and internationally

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
  • 2+ years of experience performing complex systems engineering or system integration work
  • 2+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams

Skills

  • Desired: 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Desired: 2+ years of experience in the Aerospace Industry
  • Desired: Experience working with and collaborating with executive leadership
  • Desired: Experience supporting production and factory
  • Desired: Experience supporting airline customers

Mid-Level: $112,200 - $151,800
Senior Level: $136,850 - $185,150
