Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience with systems design, integration, and testing activities
- Experience with Cameo and SysML
- Experience with design & gate process (PDR, CDR, or FRR)
- Background in aerospace and/or mechanical environments
Responsibilities
- Apply functional, working, and general industry knowledge to contribute to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity
- Work independently with some guidance; may review or guide the activities of junior employees
- Lead the technical development and integration of defense-related systems
- Create, integrate, and apply interdisciplinary digital models of systems throughout the product lifecycle
- Conduct system-level trade studies to identify and balance conflicting requirements
- Oversee the delivery of complex aerospace hardware from concept to test
Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Experience delivering complex aerospace hardware and conducting system-level trade studies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with requirements derivation, definition, validation, and verification
- Experience with a gated design review process
- Knowledge of Systems Modeling Language (SysML) or Unified Modeling Language (UML)
- Knowledge of requirement management tools, such as DOORS or JAMA
- Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering
