Systems Engineering Manager

About the role

This position provides System Engineering and Project Management responsibilities for a customer mission-critical access system. The system has a large user base and interfaces with numerous mission and enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance and critical updates to the legacy system
• Support the development of a replacement system built in Angular and Python within the customer AWS environment
• Help set the design direction and define milestones
• Brief senior customer management

Requirements

• AWS EC2, S3, RDS (Oracle), ECS, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, ELB experience
• Terraform
• Software Testing
• Experience with Customer A&A systems and processes

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills
• Oracle DBA skills
• Ldap management and query skills (389 DS or OpenLDAP)
• Jira/Confluence/Github SE/PM experience on customer applications
• Agile Development Management
• Python, FastAPI, Angular, Java / Grails (legacy application support)
• Experience with Customer A&A systems and processes

Pay

The proposed salary range for this position is $131,800 - $290,000.
