The Lockheed Martin Global Comms and Navigation Mission Segment is designing, developing, and delivering an integrated space/ground Satellite Communications (SATCOM) system. This position will be a key member of the Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) team in support of the design, development, production, integration, test, and delivery of this critical capability focused on the requirements development, decomposition, and verification. In this role, you will support Requirements and Verification Engineering for the integrated system. This includes performing the: Development, allocation, and flow-down of both performance and functional requirements from the system to it’s constituent segments and belowCoordination across the SEIT team and with lower-tier systems, hardware, and software engineers to ensure a comprehensive allocation and understanding of the system requirementsDevelop verification and validation plans; lead the applicable verification and validation activities ensuring the systems both meets requirements and performs as neededSupport for key program design reviews The information below includes the standard job description for this position Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering or a closely related technical discipline 2 years of Systems Engineering experience Requirements allocation, flow down, verification, and/or VCRM development experience Experiencing developing and/or verification of Interface Control Documents (ICDs) Familiarity with DOORS Experience working either Satellite or Ground Segment programs Active and current Top Secret clearance. Thus US Citizenship is required Desired Skills Master's degree (or higher) in Engineering 3+ years of Requirements and Verification Experience Experience in supporting design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, etc) Familiarity with CAMEO and other MBSE tools Active SCI clearance Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice #SpaceNSS Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
