About the Role
KBR’s National Security Solutions team is seeking a highly capable engineering Subject Matter Expert to support the ABMS Program Office as an architect and engineering leader within the Digital Infrastructure. This role will have a profound impact on national security by designing and optimizing defense systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead network architect and engineering requirements, ensuring all requirements are met.
- Manage cross-functional teams to ensure delivery across various tactical environments.
- Own architectural and prototype development requirements to meet mission objectives and partner needs.
- Conduct technical evaluations and trade space analyses, translating outcomes to meet mission partner needs.
- Perform gap analysis and risk identification for network operations, architectural efforts, and capabilities; recommend and lead mitigation strategies.
- Lead working groups, action/technical teams, and address interface, cyber, architectural, cloud, node, connectivity, and related needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in cyber, cloud, and tactical environments.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, systems, and stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Active TS/SCI with SAP eligibility.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Master’s degree in Cyberspace Operations.
- Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes and documentation.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
- Ability to streamline workflows and improve team efficiency.
- Prior supervisory or team lead experience in a government or defense setting.
Work Environment
- Location: Remote (Dayton, Ohio or Los Angeles).
- Travel Requirements: 0-35%.
- Working Hours: Standard core hours 0900 - 1500.
