Systems Engineer L1 with Security Clearance

About the role

Jovian Concepts, LLC is looking to hire a Systems Engineer Level 1 for a great opportunity in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.

Responsibilities

• Supports the design, development, integration, and maintenance of complex technical systems, ensuring they operate reliably and meet organizational needs.
• Works closely with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into effective system solutions.
• Troubleshoots issues and implements improvements.
• Maintains thorough technical documentation.
• Evaluates system performance.
• Supports lifecycle management.
• Collaborates with vendors when needed.
• Ensures alignment with industry best practices.

Requirements

• A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with an MD Polygraph is required to be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant technical field plus 3 years of relevant experience, OR Master’s degree plus 1 year of relevant experience.
• Relevant experience must be in engineering systems over their lifecycle (for example, conception, design & development, testing, production, distribution/deployment, operation, maintenance & support, decommissioning).
