This Enterprise Operations (EO) position supports the Lockheed Martin Space division located in Denver, CO.

About the role

The selected candidate will provide IT support to critical programs under the Space Division, ensuring Lockheed Martin IT systems are managed, controlled, and compliant with the Corporate Information Protection Manuals (CIPM). Responsibilities include upgrades, operations and maintenance, hardware and software installations, and service requests (servers, workstations, containers, networking, and storage), as well as continuity of operations (backups and verified restore capabilities).

Responsibilities

  • Workstation administration on heterogeneous networks including Windows Server-based domains and Linux distributions.
  • Manage operating system cyber compliance, upgrades, and patching (Windows/Linux).
  • Perform guidance and management for hardware, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance on multiple architectures.
  • Ensure the integrity and availability of applications, and coordinate new application installations, upgrades, and customer support in classified areas.
  • Implement effective backup/recovery, resource accounting, and auditing procedures.
  • Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on varied IT hardware (PCs, printers, laptops, etc.).
  • Implement security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures.
  • Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analysis, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
  • Conduct analyses at all levels of total system product, including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
  • Translate customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
  • Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies.
  • Accommodate occasional off-shift hours.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI Poly.
  • U.S. Citizenship required for access to the work facility.
  • Must possess Security+ certification or better.
  • 3+ years of experience administering Linux and Windows server environments.
  • Demonstrated experience effectively performing in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with DISA STIGs and Security Hardening of OS and applications.
  • Experience performing diagnostics and troubleshooting network issues.
  • Experience with Operating Systems life cycle management and configuration management (e.g., installation/upgrades, system imaging, account management, print services, integration with domain services, hardware modernization, performance monitoring).
  • Experience determining root causes of network issues and recommending strategies to prevent recurrences.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Desired Skills

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with a CI Poly.
  • 5+ years of experience administering Linux and Windows server environments.
  • Experience with vulnerability remediation and security management (e.g., system hardening, log management, configuration management using Nessus, Trellix EPO, WSUS, Splunk, ACAS, SCAP, HBSS).
  • Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, PowerShell).
  • Experience administering NetApp storage devices.
  • Advanced IT certification such as RHCSA, MSCE, or CISSP.

Schedule

This is a full-time onsite role, working most of the day in closed areas. The schedule follows a 9X80 arrangement, with every other Friday off.

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $95,900.00 - $178,100.00. The salary offered considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, and market/work location.

For Washington state applicants only: Non-represented full-time employees accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) for incidental absences and receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full-time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month, up to 52 hours of sick leave annually, and receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
