Systems Engineer III

About the Role
Experienced Systems Engineer to support development of a variety of military-based, complex systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead systems engineering efforts and support the development of complex military systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of military customers.
- Conduct system modeling, operations analysis, and requirements decomposition in support of system design.
- Perform system-level trade analysis of different design options including estimated development and operational costs.
- Develop system requirement specifications for the overall system including verification plans.
- Generate overall system architecture to satisfy customer, functional, reliability, and safety requirements.
- Address engineering lifecycle from development to manufacturing to fielding and support.
- Ensure requirements traceability, interface management, and risk analysis for the system.
- Coordinate and execute milestone project reviews, technical reviews, and decision tradeoff analysis.
Expertise in one or more of the following areas will be useful in this position:
- Use of Model-Based Systems Engineering principles to develop SysML Models.
- Experience with DOORS requirement management tool.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline with 5+ years of related experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Customer interfacing and ability to build relationships.
- Ability to work in teams and independently with minimal direction.
- Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain SAP level clearance.
