Systems Engineer/Full Stack Web Developer

About the role

The Systems Engineer will work within a software engineering team to develop and maintain new software applications, including supplier tracking, manufacturing data collection and reporting solutions, and an integrated suite of people management software. The role involves supporting legacy systems and migrating/consolidating them into a unified internal .NET website integrated with ERP, HRIS, and other systems. This position operates in an agile environment focused on applying best practices to solve complex business problems.

Responsibilities

• Develop new Online Transaction Processing (OLTP) applications and functions in ASP.NET.
• Support existing features with a heavy emphasis on refactoring for reliability and maintenance reductions.
• Support legacy systems, including FileMaker applications.
• Design and implement technical solutions and optimizations.
• Communicate with external stakeholders during design, development, and support.
• Collaborate closely with teammates and management to prevent and resolve blockers, ensuring alignment.
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years writing software in a business environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or minimum 2 years’ professional web development experience supporting business applications.
