This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations. HII designs, develops, integrates and manages the sensors, systems and other assets necessary to support integrated ISR operations and accelerated decision-making.

About the role

The selected candidate will be part of the team responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and technical readiness of the program and facility equipment in Coos Bay, Oregon. This position reports to the Site OIC/Deputy OIC and provides technical expertise in support of 24/7/365 watch-standing duties. Responsibilities include managing all program systems, equipment, and components; troubleshooting system outages; coordinating with various agencies to maximize circuit readiness and minimize downtime; and maintaining the habitability of program spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
  • Analyzes systems at all levels, including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
  • Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
  • Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
  • Provides technical expertise for the installation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of installed systems.
  • Performs duties as Power Control Station/Power Safety Officer (PCO/PSO), overseeing routine and preventative maintenance.
  • Informs the chain of command of any substantive changes to routine system configuration or capability.
  • Drafts daily/monthly/weekly watch bills in support of operational requirements.
  • Manages electronic equipment for preventive and corrective maintenance, configuration, and calibration.
  • Identifies and corrects emergent problems involving technical and/or facility-related equipment, systems, and components.
  • Develops, reviews, and implements Policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Requirements

  • 5 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's in a related field; 3 years of relevant experience with a master's in a related field; or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years of relevant experience.
  • Background in Electronic Maintenance, Information Systems, or Telecommunication disciplines.
  • Experience with the management of electronic equipment for preventive and corrective maintenance, configuration, and calibration.
  • Experience in Safety Procedures when working with electronic equipment.
  • TS/SCI clearance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain base access credentials.
  • U.S. citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong background in communications; fiber optics; electrical/electronic components; generators; AC/DC and high/low voltage theory and application.
  • Thorough knowledge of the installation and maintenance of electrical/electronic components; working knowledge of Key Management Infrastructure.
  • Experience and operational knowledge of various Test Equipment.
  • Experience with Lifecycle Management of programs and various equipment.
  • Experience with Information Systems, Network Infrastructure, Troubleshooting, and Program Analysis.

Pay

Anticipated salary range: $86,329.00 - $110,000.00.
