About the role
Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Systems Engineer to support a mission critical Department of Defense (DOD) customer. An understanding of PowerShell scripting and automation and familiarity with image as code solutions is required. Experience performing pre-production testing and validation of VDI image updates in McLean, VA is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Checking VDI health and monitoring dashboards
- Running PowerShell monitoring tasks
- Deploying validated updates to production VDI environments
Requirements
- Strong PowerShell, VDI, and automation knowledge
- Experience with image as Code solutions
- Experience performing pre-production testing and validation of VDI image updates
- Familiarity with DISA STIGs and the Omnissa Horizon hosted on vSphere
Pay
$160,000 to $175,000
