Systems Engineer
About The Role
Our healthcare client is seeking a Systems Engineer II to join their Technical Services team. This position is ideal for a hands-on infrastructure professional with strong experience in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and Microsoft 365 technologies. The engineer will play a key role in supporting enterprise systems, leading infrastructure projects, and helping drive ongoing modernization efforts across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and support enterprise infrastructure solutions
- Administer Windows, Linux, and AIX server environments
- Manage Active Directory, Entra ID, ADFS, SSO, and PKI solutions
- Support Microsoft 365 technologies, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive
- Maintain file services, DFS environments, and storage platforms
- Participate in server lifecycle management, patching, and upgrade initiatives
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and perform root cause analysis
- Create and maintain operational documentation and technical standards
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver technical solutions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Experience supporting enterprise Windows Server environments
- Strong Active Directory administration experience
- Experience with Identity & Access Management (IAM) technologies including: Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), SSO, and PKI
- Experience supporting file services and storage solutions
- Strong troubleshooting and systems administration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Linux and/or AIX administration experience
- Exchange Server and Exchange Online
- Microsoft Teams administration
- SharePoint Online and OneDrive
- Azure cloud services
- Azure DevOps
- Terraform
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 migrations

Work Environment
Hybrid work environment
Candidates must reside within a commutable distance of Fresno, CA
On-call rotation approximately once every 9 weeks
Standard schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with flexible start times

Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Fresno, CA.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $105,664.00 - $134,451.00/yr.
