About the role
As a Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in transforming aerospace engineering through innovation, automation, and digital transformation. Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and integration of aerospace systems with a focus on digital engineering and automation.
- Apply systems thinking to solve complex engineering challenges in aviation and aerospace.
- Drive the adoption of DevSecOps practices to improve system security, scalability, and deployment.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to modernize legacy systems and implement next-generation solutions.
- Develop and maintain system architectures, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and digital transformation to enhance engineering workflows.
- Support testing, validation, and verification of systems to ensure compliance with aerospace requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Proven experience in systems engineering within the aerospace or aviation industry.
- Strong background in digital engineering, model-based systems engineering (MBSE), or engineering automation.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based infrastructure.
- Proficiency in system modeling tools (e.g., SysML, UML) and simulation software.
- Experience with requirements management, system integration, and verification/validation processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
