Systems Engineer

Focused on delivering innovative EW solutions, this role involves system development, requirements development, integration & test, and test planning and execution in a field deployment environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a medium or large team of Systems Engineers on EW-related programs.
• Manage all system engineering content and work products.
• Understand and implement the product development process.
• Handle schedule and cost account responsibilities for the systems team.
• Execute systems planning and requirements development.
• Create and review systems requirements, including software, component, subsystem, and operational concepts.
• Allocate requirements to engineering disciplines.
• Develop system test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Lead product design, development, integration, and verification.
• Engage with customers, contractors, and government officials.
• Manage and participate in trade studies, peer reviews, and customer meetings.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations internally and with customers.
• Monitor and report metrics such as System Technical Performance Measures.
• Support proposal development activities, including proposal text development, cost and schedule estimating, and presentation activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree of Science (or equivalent experience in a relevant field) with a minimum work experience of:
  • 6+ years with a BS
  • 4+ years with an MS
• Possess an active US Government security clearance (with ability to possess TS).
• Leadership skills and experience directing and mentoring engineers on complex programs.
• Expertise in documenting, communicating, leading, and collaborating on designs, results, reports, and presentations.
• Experience performing systems engineering activities across the development cycle (analysis/decomposition/derivation/allocation of requirements, system modeling & simulation, system design & development, system integration & test).
• Experience developing viable concept solutions, identifying and tracking technical risks, and leading technical teams.

Qualifications

• Preferred: M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related engineering discipline with 11 years of experience, or Ph.D. with 9 years of experience.
• Experience as a project/program team member responsible for dynamic workflows.
• Experience with EW and/or Radar and Missile Systems.
• Experience with technical performance measurements and cost account management.
• Model-based systems engineering experience with tools such as MagicDraw.
• Familiarity or experience with Agile Systems Engineering.
• Active United States security clearance, Top Secret, SCI eligible.

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $115,779 - $196,825. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.

Schedule

• Full-time onsite at either Nashua, NH or Manchester, NH.
• 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.
