Systems Engineer and Integrator (SE3) (Government)

AT&T Global Public Sector provides secure, IP‑enabled, cloud‑based network solutions and professional services to the Federal Government. The Intelink Services team delivers inter‑agency information sharing, content discovery, and collaboration capabilities across Defense, Homeland Security, Foreign Affairs, and Law Enforcement domains. This role supports Public Sector Solutions as a Systems Engineer and Integrator, working on‑site at a government customer location in Laurel, MD.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct gap analysis of existing systems related to migration to or integration of Microsoft 365 software and systems.
• Perform analysis of alternatives and recommend paths forward for enterprise solutions.

General Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high‑level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Lead design and development activities based on system requirements.
• Guide users in formulating requirements, advise on alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies.
• Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
• Incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.
• Develop technical documentation, system architecture, and system design documentation.
• Prepare system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
• Interact with government stakeholders on systems engineering, technical considerations, and related issues.
• Maintain ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and associated deliverables.
• Communicate with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.

Required Qualifications

• Twenty (20) years of experience as a Systems Engineer on programs and contracts of comparable scope, type, and complexity.
• Demonstrated experience planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited institution (or five (5) additional years of SE experience in lieu of the degree).
• Compliance with DoD 8570.01‑M, minimum certification of IAM Level I (e.g., CAP, GSLC, Security+).
• Required security clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph.

Desired Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 service offerings and implementation/integration strategies.
• Understanding of IT system architectures.
• Experience with security and Identity and Access Management as it relates to cross‑tenant collaboration.
• Proven ability to conduct analysis of alternatives for complex systems.

Pay

The Systems Engineer and Integrator (SE3) position offers a salary range of $130,700 – $243,800 per year. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.

Schedule

Full‑time, 40 hours per week, regular time type. Position located in Columbia, Maryland (on‑site at the government customer site in Laurel, MD). No relocation assistance is provided.
