Systems Engineer 5 (CONUS/OCONUS) - RF/Linux/Visio

Captivation Software is seeking a senior-level systems engineer to assist with daily responsibilities on the program. Our team of engineers takes pride in delivering innovative solutions that support the mission to protect our country.

Responsibilities

• Perform site surveys and plan/execute system installations
• Troubleshoot networks, hardware, and software configurations
• Design and test systems
• Work with customer GOTs software capabilities
• Adapt to unexpected challenges and think on the fly
• Lead small team projects or work as part of a team
• Travel OCONUS/CONUS for up to 3-4 weeks at a time

Requirements

• Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph (U.S. citizenship required)
• Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED plus nineteen (19) years of general systems engineering experience, or
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline plus fifteen (15) years of systems engineering experience, or
  • Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline plus thirteen (13) years of systems engineering experience
• Competency with hand tools (including power tools), RF spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and signal generators
• Working knowledge of Linux
• Familiarity with Microsoft suite (Visio, Excel, Word)
• Excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with system design and testing

• Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (based on experience)
