Description

Captivation Software is looking for a senior level systems engineer with experience and interest in actively interacting with users to translate their experience with our technology stack into actionable work items.

Requirements

• Security Clearance: Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen
• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Required Skills

• Document user operations using front-end tools to assist in test plan development
• Absorb and document the architecture, dataflows and workflows that make up a complex technology solution
• Actively perform outreach for issues reported via our service desk to ensure clarity and completeness
• Actively perform outreach to ensure solutions (i.e. bug fixes, enhancements, etc.) meet customer needs
• Absorb and assist DevOps team with updating and maintaining System Health & Status tools
• Absorb and assist monitoring the health of the system during duty hours
• Maintain existing architecture documentation by working with team leads to understand impact of work in progress
• Absorb and assist the team in identifying risks and mitigations
• Absorb and assist TTO Lead with weekly status reporting
• Absorb and assist team leads with Sprint activities: planning, ticket maintenance, retrospective
• Absorb and assist team leads with or Lead documenting release notes

Benefits

• Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)
