About the role

This position requires that the candidate selected must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance. The position further requires that, after start, the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing and fixing production software issues
  • Developing monitoring solutions
  • Performing software maintenance and configuration
  • Implementing the fix for internally developed code (Perl, Ruby, C/C++, JAVA, Python)
  • Updating, tracking and resolving technical challenges
  • Working alongside development on AWS projects
  • Updating/enhancing our current software
  • Automation of support processes and documentation of our systems

Requirements

The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree, or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional), and 1+ years of non-internship professional software development experience. They must also have 1+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems, and hands-on systems engineering experience. Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby is required. Additionally, the candidate must have knowledge of one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ruby, Perl) and experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology.

$99,100.00 - $160,000.00 USD annually
