Systems Development Engineer III, ISV Integration, Region Product Management- Region Services
About the role
This role is part of the Region Services team within Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC). The Systems Development Engineer III leads the technical integration and onboarding of Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and model providers into US Sovereign and Dedicated Cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end technical onboarding of ISV partners into ADC environments, from initial credentialing through architecture review and production deployment
- Provide hands-on technical support to ISVs deploying workloads in classified environments, including architecture guidance, troubleshooting, deployment automation, and operational readiness
- Define and own the ISV integration strategy; develop repeatable onboarding processes, runbooks, and automation tooling that scale beyond the initial
- Drive Model Parity: work with AI/ML model providers to package, validate, and deploy their model containers into GovCloud and ADC regions
- Identify and escalate service or feature parity blockers that prevent ISV deployment; collaborate with internal service teams to drive resolution

Requirements
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree, or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
- 3+ years of programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby experience
- 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 4+ years of systems development in an IT or data center environment experience
- 2+ years of systems design, software development, operations, automation, and process improvement experience
- Experience leading the design, build and deployment of complex and performant (reliable and scalable) software solutions in production
- 2+ years of experience working with ISVs, SaaS providers, or third-party software integration in cloud environments
Qualifications
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience taking a leading role in building complex software or computing infrastructure that has been successfully delivered to customers
- Experience operating in air-gapped environments
- Background in Solutions Architecture, Technical Account Management, or Partner Engineering
