Systems Development Engineer III, Bespoke Solutions
About the role
Bespoke Solutions is seeking a seasoned Senior Systems Development Engineer to join our team building next-generation infrastructure solutions for Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC).
ADC extends the full power of AWS cloud infrastructure to customers, countries, and organizations with the most stringent security, compliance, and data sovereignty requirements — including government, defense, and regulated industries.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain AWS infrastructure using CDK (TypeScript) and scripting, including configuration and management of cloud-based networking services and architectures
- Configure and maintain a logically isolated classified development environment within the AWS Secret Cloud region
- Monitor system health and perform routine patching and software updates across all hosted services
- Administer the GitLab repository, including user access, pipelines, and version control management
- Serve physical lab connectivity, network switch configuration, KVM architecture, and developer workstations
Requirements
- 3+ years of development/programming/scripting language (Python/Java/Bash/Perl) experience
- Experience with automation and any version control tools
- Experience in managing and troubleshooting network and experience in Network protocols like DNS/DHCP/TCP
- 7 years’ experience with Linux and/or Windows Operating System support including in-depth understanding of one or both OSs, configuring, managing or troubleshooting systems at scale
- Experience with PowerShell scripting, database administration and client server applications
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above
Qualifications
- Master's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent
- Experience leading highly-available and fault-tolerant enterprise and web-scale software deployments
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP and networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS, BGP, IPSec and OSPF
Skills
- Knowledge of one or more of the following domains: access-control system and methodology, network security, application- and system-development security, security architecture and models, cryptography, and operations security

Pay
Base salary range for this position is listed below.
Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
