Systems Architecture Solutions Engineer

SUMMARY

The Systems Architecture Solutions Engineer (SASE) is responsible for designing, deploying, supporting, and maintaining application software. They ensure adherence to the organization's architectural design and deployment strategy, and work on complex business and technical projects to define system solutions and identify integration needs.

• Research, select, test, and upgrade technical products required for successful solution delivery.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Participate in projects from start to finish, providing technical guidance aligned with the organization's technology infrastructure and business strategy.
• Support a broad and diverse set of applications and necessary integrations.

EXPERIENCE

• 5-7 years working with IT infrastructure technologies including storage, networking, servers and operating systems, virtualization, database administration, etc.
• 2 years of application support working directly with end user business units.
• Demonstrated experience in service design within any IT discipline.

SPECIAL SKILLS

• Windows and Linux server environments;
• Role-based management systems (Active Directory, LDAP, other);
• DAS/NAS/CAS storage and backup solutions;
• Campus LAN, data center networking;
• SAN;
• Database administration and management.

EDUCATION

A preferred education is a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
