Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure software application architectures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Conduct architectural reviews and provide guidance on best practices and coding standards
- Ensure software solutions are aligned with business and technical requirements
- Provide technical expertise and direction for projects
- Develop architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines
- Serve in a variety of technical roles throughout the development lifecycle or operational support with specialty in the area of developing and maintaining enterprise architecture
Requirements
- BA/BS degree or High School Diploma and 6 years of relevant experience
- Associate's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of Project Management Experience with Agile processes, iterative design, and continuous improvement
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
Qualifications
- Masters Degree
- Demonstrated experience in architecting large scale distributed platform
- Familiarity with Big Data Platforms (BDPs)
- Experience working with government programs
