Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture development for Grants.gov and related services
- Design high-availability and secure infrastructure solutions for continuous operations
- Define modernization strategies and technical recommendations for system performance
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment across various platforms and applications
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and operational improvements
- Oversee system integrations and application workflows for data exchanges
- Provide technical governance and ensure compliance with federal architecture standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree
- 8-10+ years of experience in enterprise-scale application architecture design and support
- Experience in architecting cloud solutions, ideally within AWS environments
- Familiarity with enterprise application integration, APIs, and service-oriented architectures
- Proven ability to design secure, scalable systems for public-facing applications
- Strong understanding of database architecture, disaster recovery, and performance management
