About the role
The ideal candidate will thrive in complex, highly integrated environments with numerous external interfaces and will translate operational needs into resilient, scalable, and secure technical solutions. They will serve as a trusted subject matter expert to the client, providing authoritative guidance throughout the system lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver large-scale platform architectures across both on-premise and cloud environments
- Support requirements development to ensure mission needs are accurately captured
- Participate and lead design reviews to validate architectural alignment
- Deliver well-founded recommendations on system architecture that drive modernization, interoperability, and long-term sustainability
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience developing system architectures
- Experience supporting space, ground, software, or hardware systems in Major Defense Acquisition Programs
- Experience architecting and implementing cloud-based solutions and cloud-based development
- Experience with containerization and orchestration using tools such as Kubernetes or OpenShift
- Knowledge of networking and external interface integration
- Knowledge of zero-trust principles and cybersecurity frameworks
Qualifications
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
- Nice to have: Experience with OPIR or Missile Warning Operations, experience with risk assessments and threat modeling techniques, knowledge of DoD 5000.01/02 TS/SCI clearance, Master’s degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or an equivalent technical field, Security+ or Cloud Certification, including AWS Certification, Certified Solutions Architect Associate, Google Certified Professional - Cloud Architect, or MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Certification
Skills

Pay
$86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD)
Schedule
Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
