About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated Systems Analyst to support combat system performance analysis studies. You will be joining a hardworking team of engineers who are passionate about providing high-impact analysis solutions to support our warfighters.
Responsibilities
- Analyze Weapon Control System (WCS) Modeling & Simulation (M&S) results to evaluate system performance in support of fleet studies, flight test events, and system engineering studies.
- Characterize system capabilities and limitations, identify trends and outliers, and perform root cause analysis.
- Contribute to WCS analysis efforts by reviewing requirements, assessing system design, and evaluating algorithms.
- Support concept and feasibility studies to assist in the development of future combat system capabilities and requirements.
- Develop tools in Python and MATLAB to analyze combat system performance and visualize data in innovative ways.
- Produce documentation on system requirements, system design, technical recommendations, and analysis results.
- Deliver presentations to technical staff, program leadership, and sponsors.
Qualifications
- Have a BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related technical field.
- Have 3+ years of related professional experience.
- Be proficient with MATLAB and/or Python.
- Be detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Be highly self-motivated to dig into data to root cause issues and to understand system performance.
- Have strong technical written and oral communication skills.
- Have the ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team, as well as effective collaboration skills with other teams and contractors.
- Be willing to travel up to 5% of the time as needed.
- Be able to obtain Interim Secret level security clearance by your start date and can ultimately obtain Secret level clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Have an MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related technical field.
- Have 5+ years of related professional experience.
- Be proficient with Python data science libraries (e.g. NumPy, Pandas).
- Have experience in requirements analysis, design, and concept development.
- Be familiar with developing object-oriented C++ software in a Linux environment.
- Be familiar with software revision control systems (e.g. git).
- Be familiar with the Atlassian tool suite (e.g. Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket, Bamboo).
- Have strong interpersonal and communications skills with a desire to take on leadership roles for analysis studies.
- Be familiar with the Aegis Weapon System and/or Weapon Control System.

Pay
Minimum Rate: $100,000 Annually
Maximum Rate: $245,000 Annually
