About the role

The Systems Administrator with Security Clearance is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the security and functionality of computer systems within the organization. This position requires a strong background in IT infrastructure management, including network administration, system administration, and security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot computer hardware and software systems
• Implement and manage network infrastructure
• Ensure compliance with security policies and standards
• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures
• Provide technical support to end-users
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in IT

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure management
• Experience with Windows Server, Linux, and network security
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Experience with Active Directory, Exchange, and SharePoint
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Proficient in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Experience with cloud-based services
• Understanding of data center operations
• Good understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices
