We're looking for a system administrator with deep expertise in Linux systems, container orchestration such as Kubernetes, and automation such as Ansible. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between complex technical execution and client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize infrastructure
• Responsible for the architecture, security, and performance of systems and containerized environments
• Provide customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management
• Identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission‑critical network
• Help the team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning
• Broaden skillset into areas like automation logic, cluster management, workload management, and CI/CD integration
• Share expertise through leadership and mentoring to help the team work through challenges and develop new methodologies
• Identify new opportunities to modernize the network so clients achieve their goals
• Resolve daily challenges while improving clients' network infrastructure and bringing additional capabilities to the warfighter

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Linux Administration
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible
• Experience with STIG hardening, SELinux or FApolicyd, and managing secrets and certificates
• Knowledge of IT networking and security concepts
• Ability to use troubleshooting tools such as netstat, tcpdump, traceroute, and ping to isolate network problems
• Ability to translate complex technical requirements into solutions for clients and engineers
• TS/SCI clearance
• HS diploma or GED
