About the role
The Systems Administrator II - DevOps is responsible for supporting the maintenance, optimization, monitoring, and control of changes to the operational environment; automating the infrastructure and systems that support the development and deployment of our applications; and facilitating the transition of new services to production operations.
Responsibilities
- Designs, implements, and manages CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes
- Develops and implements automation scripts for application deployment
- Supports the stability, security, and scalability of systems and processes supporting our IT environment and DevOps pipelines
- Monitors system performance, identifies issues, and implements solutions to maintain optimal performance and reliability
- Provides systems and network support for internal teams, responding to operational incidents, and ensuring minimal downtime
- Works closely with development, QA, and operations teams to maintain and manage IT environments, streamline processes, and improve overall efficiency
- Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and procedures
- Maintains clear and up-to-date runbooks and installation guides
- Coordinates software releases, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of new features and updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related technical degree
- Three to five years in information systems administration or operations role
- Previous hands-on work with public cloud administration (Azure or AWS)
Skills
- Continuous integration & deployment, version control systems, DevOps pipelines, automation, configuration management, script writing, JIRA, Confluence, cloud computing
- Proficiency in infrastructure automation and infrastructure as code and configuration as code for repeatable deployment and operations
- Ability to build, test, maintain, and troubleshoot infrastructure as code templates and automated configuration workflows
- Skilled in scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Terraform, Bicep, or similar technologies
- Experience managing and automating infrastructure and configuration in public cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS

Work Environment
This position requires occasional local travel to data centers.
Pay
The expected base salary range for this position is $105,000 – $142,000, with the final offer determined based on factors such as experience, scope of the role, and demonstrated skills and competencies. In addition to base pay, CFC offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package, including an annual incentive opportunity.
