Core Responsibilities
- ERP (SYSPRO ERP) Ownership
- Administer and support SYSPRO (current + upgrade to v8)
- Maintain and improve: Item master data, BOMs, product classes, MRP configuration and usage, user roles, dashboards (Avanti, Workspaces), identify and remediate data inconsistencies and process gaps, support ERP upgrade readiness (data cleanup, testing, validation)
- PLM & Engineering Integration
- Administer and support Arena PLM
- Support integration with: Altium Designer (engineering design), SYSPRO (ERP), enable end-to-end product lifecycle flow: Engineering design → PLM → ERP → manufacturing, improve engineering change workflows (ECO/ECR) and traceability
- System Integration & Data Flow
- Design, support, and maintain integrations across: ERP, PLM, engineering tools, and reporting systems, troubleshoot and fix broken or outdated integrations, ensure consistent data mapping and synchronization across systems, support API, middleware, or ETL-based integration approaches
- Data Integrity & Process Standardization
- Establish and enforce data governance standards, ensure consistent creation and maintenance of: Part numbers, BOM structures, product and manufacturing data, eliminate manual workarounds and shadow processes, partner with engineering, operations, and finance to align workflows
- Reporting & Analytics
- Improve reporting capabilities: Transition from static reports (e.g., Crystal Reports) to modern tools (e.g., Power BI), enable real-time dashboards for: Operations, Engineering, Finance
- IT Operations & Infrastructure Support
- Support endpoint, identity, and collaboration platforms (Microsoft 365, Intune, etc.), assist with document management standardization (Teams, OneDrive, network drives), partner with MSP for L1/L2 support and escalation management
- Security & Compliance
- Support implementation of: Role-based access control (RBAC), endpoint security and device compliance, data protection and IP controls, align with frameworks such as NIST/CIS, support traceability requirements in safety-critical environments (e.g., SIL3 context)
- 5–10+ years in Systems Administration / IT Operations roles
- Strong experience with: ERP systems (SYSPRO strongly preferred), PLM systems (Arena or similar), engineering tool integration (Altium or similar CAD/EDA tools), experience supporting manufacturing or industrial environments, hands-on experience with: Data integrity, master data management, system integrations (APIs, middleware, ETL), strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills

- Experience supporting ERP upgrades or migrations, familiarity with MRP and manufacturing workflows, experience with Power BI or modern analytics tools, exposure to compliance frameworks (NIST, CMMC, etc.), experience working in vendor-heavy / MSP-supported environments
