Systems Administrator 2 - Linux/CI/CD/Ansible/Terraform/DevOps

About the role

Captivation Software is looking for a mid-level systems administrator with strong Linux experience to manage and innovate our IT infrastructure in support of the mission to protect our country.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud environments
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes
• Troubleshoot system issues and ensure high availability and performance
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize deployment strategies and resolve environment-related issues
• Automate routine tasks using scripting and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
• Ensure system security through firewalls, antivirus tools, and access controls
• Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures
• Stay current with DevOps trends

Requirements

• Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph (U.S. citizenship required)
• Ten years' experience as a systems administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university (five years of additional systems administration experience may be substituted)

Benefits

• Annual salary: $130,000 – $270,000 (depends on years of experience)
