System Vulnerability Analyst 4

About the role

The System Vulnerability Analyst is responsible for identifying vulnerabilities and attacks to system designs and operations, including hardware, software, personnel, procedures, logistics, and physical security. This role involves comparing and contrasting various attack techniques and developing effective countermeasures.

Responsibilities

• Exploit captured media and investigate computer security incidents to derive useful intelligence and mitigate network vulnerabilities.
• Design/develop computer or information systems, program, conduct computer/network security, perform vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, and systems engineering.
• Experience in red team activities is mandatory, while blue and purple team experiences are also required.
• OCONUS travel is a requirement.
• Zero Trust experience related to CNE, CNO, network infrastructure, architecture, and hardening is preferred.
• Comfortable with network analysis, network anomaly detection, IOC's MITRE ATT&CK framework, NIST/ISO 27001, and capable of analyzing data to detect malicious or unauthorized activity.
• Minimal Python skills are beneficial.
• Pen testing experience is advantageous.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree with 7 years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree with 9 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's Degree with 11 years of relevant experience.
• Associates Degree with 13 years of relevant experience.
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field (e.g., General Engineering, Computer Engineering, System Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Forensics, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Information Assurance, and Information Security).
• Relevant military training such as JCAC, UCT, NWBC/INWT, or similar courses can be considered as part of the required experience (e.g., 20-24 weeks counts as 6 months, 10-14 weeks counts as 3 months).

Qualifications

• Information Assurance Certification may be required.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.
