System Test Engineering Technician (Linux)

This is a fast-moving, hands-on team at the forefront of autonomous technology and they need a detail-oriented, mechanically-minded technician.

Responsibilities

• Execute structured, step-by-step test procedures across software, firmware, and hardware components of autonomous robotic systems, ensuring every feature performs exactly as designed before deployment
• Physically operate and test robots in lab and real-world environments, identifying behavioral anomalies, sensor failures, and hardware issues including tracking cameras, LiDAR, and other robotic systems
• Document defects clearly, thoroughly, and reproducibly in defect reports for the engineering team, maintaining precise records of test passes and outcomes to ensure traceability and repeatability
• Support the setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of robotic test spaces, hardware targets, and test equipment while adhering to safety protocols for working around moving autonomous machines

Qualifications

• Active, physical role requiring extended periods on your feet
• Experience operating and testing robots in both lab and real-world environments
• Ability to identify and document defects accurately and thoroughly
• Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to work around moving autonomous machines

Pay

Please note: Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location. The expected range for this role is $29.00 to $29.00 per hour. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
