System Pharmacy Financial Analyst I, Baptist Downtown

About the role

Baptist Health is currently looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Pharmacy department at Baptist Medical Center. This is a Full-time Day Shift opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the Pharmacy Charge Master is accurate and assist in monitoring billing activities.
• Maintain and monitor billing using Craneware and/or other applicable software.
• Provide support for the health plan including pharmaceutical utilization and quality management.
• Act as lead for formulary management including updating the current formulary to maintain compliance with regularly released CMS guidance and clinical practice guidelines.
• Serve as a resource for drug and product information.
• Assist in maintaining any prior authorization protocols as well as other ad hoc support documents that may be needed for revenue cycle.
• Assist department members, update policies, processes and systems, and ensure compliance.
• Provide analytical support requiring much computer use and a mid-high level of familiarity with many software applications.
• Work independently, problem solve, communicate effectively, and apply general knowledge of budgets, productivity standards or reimbursement issues.

Requirements

• 1-2 years healthcare finance experience preferred
• 5+ years Pharmacy Billing experience preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree required
