Our chip-based solution integrates state-of-the-art biochemistry, photonics, electronics, and microfluidics to deliver the power of large laboratory instruments in a portable device.
Department: Product Engineering. Work location: Burlington, MA (on-site).
About the role
You will be hands on building and testing the first of its kind home testing system. This is a hands-on bench role for someone who likes taking things apart to find out why they misbehave. You'll work directly with mechanical, electrical, optical, and software engineers, and you'll be the person who finds out what actually happens when all of it is assembled into one box.
Who Thrives Here: This role is a strong fit for someone who takes ownership without being asked, is energized by variety rather than routine. The ideal candidate is a hands-on builder who documents their work, communicates clearly with engineering partners, and takes pride in the craftsmanship of every system they touch.
Why Join SiPhox Health: Help bring a first-of-its-kind at-home diagnostics platform to market. Work alongside multidisciplinary engineering and scientific teams solving complex technical challenges. Competitive compensation, equity, and benefits (including Lifetime Fitness membership).
Responsibilities
- Assemble instruments and subassemblies using hand tools and benchtop equipment
- Run system-level tests and bring-up on new builds
- Design and write test procedures, then improve them as you learn where they fall short
