About the role
Join our dynamic team of System Engineers at Lockheed Martin. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of next-generation systems within the DMSMS (Data Management Systems and Services) chapter.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test complex software solutions for data management systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, hardware engineers, and project managers to ensure system integration and functionality.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new data management technologies and methodologies.
- Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies relevant to data management systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering or system development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience with data management tools and technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with cloud-based data management platforms.
- Knowledge of data modeling and database design.
- Experience with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
Skills
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Good knowledge of data privacy and security standards.

Pay
