About the role

Join our dynamic team of System Engineers at Lockheed Martin. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of next-generation systems within the DMSMS (Data Management Systems and Services) chapter.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test complex software solutions for data management systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, hardware engineers, and project managers to ensure system integration and functionality.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new data management technologies and methodologies.
• Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies relevant to data management systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering or system development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Experience with data management tools and technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with cloud-based data management platforms.
• Knowledge of data modeling and database design.
• Experience with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).

Skills

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.

Pay
