System Engineer (m/w/d) Infrastructure

About the role

You build and operate modern IT infrastructures (on-premises, hybrid, cloud) for our clients. You work with technologies such as Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft 365, VMware, Hyper-V, and Nutanix.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and optimize server, storage, and virtualization solutions
• Ensure stable operation and further development of existing system landscapes
• Analyze and resolve disruptions in 2nd- and 3rd-level support
• Automate recurring tasks (e.g., with PowerShell) and standardize systems
• Support the technical implementation of projects and actively contribute your ideas

Requirements

• IT training, degree, or comparable practical experience
• Experience in operating IT infrastructures, server, and virtualization environments
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Windows Server & Active Directory
  • Microsoft 365 / Entra ID
  • Virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V)
  • Storage / SAN / HCI (e.g., Nutanix)
• Enjoyment in technically implementing systems and finding sustainable solutions
• Structured, independent, and team-oriented work style
• Good German and English skills
