ProSync is seeking a System Engineer with strong experience in system administration, automation, security compliance, and enterprise infrastructure support. The engineer will work on a small, mission‑focused team responsible for maintaining system integrity, performance, and security across critical client/server environments. This role requires hands‑on administration of Windows and Linux systems, support for networking devices, and familiarity with containerization and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can interact frequently with users and customers, escalate issues appropriately, and ensure systems remain secure, compliant, and operational. Responsibilities: System Engineering & Administration — Provide end‑to‑end system engineering and administration for Windows and Linux environments supporting mission‑critical operationsSecurity Compliance Management — Maintain strict security compliance across systems, including patching, protocol enforcement, configuration validation, and audit readinessAutomation & Management — Develop or support automation workflows to streamline system administration, configuration management, and compliance tasksNetworking Device Support — Work with Cisco, Juniper, and Arista devices to ensure reliable connectivity, proper configuration, and secure operationContainerization & Kubernetes — Support containerized environments and Kubernetes‑based deployments as part of modernization and operational workflowsDirectory & Identity Services — Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory, LDAP, Centrify, Group Policy, and related identity and access management servicesSecurity Protocols & Patching — Ensure systems adhere to required security protocols, perform regular patching, and maintain secure configurationsUser & Customer Interaction — Work closely with users and customers to resolve issues, gather requirements, and support mission operationsIssue Escalation — Communicate and escalate technical issues to management in a timely and effective manner Requirements A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus six (6) years of experience in system engineering (OR) An Associate's Degree, a High School Diploma or GED plus ten (10) years of general system engineering experience (OR) A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience (OR) A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus two (2) years of systems engineering experienceStrong System Engineering and System AdministrationStrong knowledge of Security ComplianceStrong knowledge of networking devices.
