About the role
Make the world’s most advanced SWC Fire Control Common Infrastructure Product Team (CIPT) even smarter! As a System Engineer - COTs/NDI (Sr Systems Eng) for SWC Fire Control, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for development of Strategic Weapons Systems Capabilities under the nuclear triad. We strive to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions that meet the rigorous demands of modern warfare and ensure the safety and success of our missions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the integration of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Non-Developmental Items (NDI) in our fire control systems with a continuous development mindset.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate and iterate on COTS/NDI solutions.
- Oversee testing and validation to ensure systems meet evolving program requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Enhance engineering processes and standards with a focus on agility, innovation, and robust software processes.
Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience.
- Agile experience preferred.
