About the role
A System Engineer, also known as a lead systems analyst, a network engineer who can also program, or a software engineer who can also manage networks, is an IT professional who oversees the creation of hybrid software, web and hardware products from initial specifications to final rollout and maintenance. These products are often sophisticated systems that run on the web. The systems engineer is responsible to integrate various network operating systems, application programs and hardware devices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the IT infrastructure.
- Conduct system analysis to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy new systems.
- Provide technical support for system upgrades and installations.
- Maintain system performance and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Troubleshoot system errors and coordinate with vendors for resolution.
- Document system configurations and changes for future reference.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and recommend upgrades as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering Discipline
- 7 years of professional experience in systems engineering
Qualifications
- Experience with interoperability of NAVWAR C4I for Afloat/Ashore Systems.

- Technical expertise in systems engineering
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Pay
$46.80 per hour
