System Director of Radiology

About the role

The System Director, Radiology oversees the planning, organization, and leadership of the enterprise-wide imaging program across multiple locations, including Radiology, PET, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, and Mammography. They ensure the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and effective imaging services that meet organizational and patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, organization, and leadership of the enterprise-wide imaging program across multiple locations
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and effective imaging services that meet organizational and patient needs
• Manage and supervise a team of radiologic technologists and other imaging professionals
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance and imaging regulations/accreditation standards
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize imaging services and workflows

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field
• ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist
• Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
• Over 10 years of experience in a medical imaging environment
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience with expertise in Quality Assurance and imaging regulations/accreditation standards
