System Director of Radiology

About the role

The System Director, Radiology oversees the planning, organization, and leadership of the enterprise-wide imaging program, which includes Radiology, PET, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Mammography, and other modalities. They ensure high-quality, efficient, and effective imaging services across multiple locations, meeting patient and organizational needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensures high-quality, efficient, and effective imaging services across multiple locations
• Maintains compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements
• Oversees the development and implementation of quality assurance programs
• Liaises with clinical and administrative teams to optimize imaging services
• Supervises and mentors a team of radiologic technologists and imaging professionals

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (required)
• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist by ARRT (required)
• Current state licensure (required)
• Over 10 years of experience in a medical imaging environment
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience in medical imaging, including Quality Assurance and accreditation compliance

Schedule

The role is scheduled for day shifts, 8A-5P, with 80 hours bi-weekly.
