System Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the College’s annual operating and capital budgeting processes, ensuring accuracy, alignment with strategic goals, and broad stakeholder engagement.
• Manage multi-year financial planning and forecasting to support long-term institutional sustainability.
• Support the College’s Online Education operations as the primary financial resource supporting the Vice President of Online.
• Provide in-depth financial analyses to evaluate initiatives, academic programs, capital projects, and operational efficiencies.
• Partner with leaders across academic and administrative units to provide guidance and ensure resource alignment.
• Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and proactively recommend corrective actions or opportunities.
• Promote a culture of transparency, collaboration, and service within the finance organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field required; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.
• 9+ years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, with at least 3 years in a senior-level role.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into accessible information.
• Able to work effectively in a flat organizational structure, building partnerships and influencing without heavy hierarchy.
• Experience with higher education finance desirable.

Pay

$125,000 – 160,000 per year. This is an exempt position.
