System Director Laboratory

Job Description

Responsible for Kaleida Laboratories across the system. Accountable for laboratory testing and services at all hospital sites including Kaleida skilled nursing facilities, clinics, and nursing units where point of care testing is done. Additionally responsible for the consolidated regional laboratory at the Center for Laboratory Medicine, specialty laboratories such as genetics and pediatric GI laboratory, and a multi-million dollar outreach program serving area hospitals, nursing homes, community-based physicians and national accounts.

Education And Credentials

• Bachelor's degree in Health Administration or Health related field required.
• Master's degree in Health administration or Health related field or an MBA preferred.

Experience

• 7-10 years’ experience as a Director or Manager of Laboratory Services in a hospital, hospital system or independent laboratory.
