Job Responsibilities
- Work with the Sales and Technical staff to interpret project specifications and drawings, determining system layout.
- Engage in communications with our vendor partners on an as-needed basis.
- Requires communication and coordination with other departments to resolve customer complaints or inquiries.
- Promptly resolves questions and problems related to assigned areas raised by customers.
- Builds and maintains business relationships with clients by providing prompt and accurate services to promote customer loyalty.
- Review plans where a design was prepared by others (i.e.: MEP or FPE firm).
- Review specifications where a design was prepared by others (i.e.: MEP or FPE firm).
- Perform takeoff and prepare counts of equipment and devices from floor plans.
- Monitor and manage support services such as maintenance of project paperwork to include contracts, revisions, estimates, work drawing and specifications.
- Must be able to work extended hours to support timelines.
Minimum Qualifications
- Possess a working knowledge of low voltage communications systems.
- Demonstrate experience with PDF markup tools (Bluebeam preferred).
- Demonstrate computer literacy, including such programs as MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Prioritize 3+ years industry experience.
Education/Certification
- Associates degree in Electronics or other technical field or equivalent experience preferred.

Abilities
- Ability to read schematic and/or construction plans is preferred.
- Ability to read architectural, mechanical and electrical blueprints and have a solid understanding of basic electrical and mechanical control systems.
- Adapt to changes in the work environment, delays or unexpected events; manage competing demands; change approach or method to best fit the situation.
