Job Responsibilities

  • Work with the Sales and Technical staff to interpret project specifications and drawings, determining system layout.
  • Engage in communications with our vendor partners on an as-needed basis.
  • Requires communication and coordination with other departments to resolve customer complaints or inquiries.
  • Promptly resolves questions and problems related to assigned areas raised by customers.
  • Builds and maintains business relationships with clients by providing prompt and accurate services to promote customer loyalty.
  • Review plans where a design was prepared by others (i.e.: MEP or FPE firm).
  • Review specifications where a design was prepared by others (i.e.: MEP or FPE firm).
  • Perform takeoff and prepare counts of equipment and devices from floor plans.
  • Monitor and manage support services such as maintenance of project paperwork to include contracts, revisions, estimates, work drawing and specifications.
  • Must be able to work extended hours to support timelines.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Possess a working knowledge of low voltage communications systems.
  • Demonstrate experience with PDF markup tools (Bluebeam preferred).
  • Demonstrate computer literacy, including such programs as MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Prioritize 3+ years industry experience.

Education/Certification

  • Associates degree in Electronics or other technical field or equivalent experience preferred.

Knowledge

  • Actively participate in personal and professional development and maintain knowledge of current and new technologies that the company offers.

  • Have proficient knowledge of the product lines and related parts used by EVERON Commercial.
  • Must possess superior interpersonal skills and be a team player.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adjust to shifting priorities.
  • Must possess good decision making skills, be very organized and detail oriented.
  • High degree of professionalism in working with employees and customers.
  • Excellent time management, planning, and forward-thinking skills.
  • Be self-motivated and have a professional attitude and demeanor.

Abilities

  • Ability to read schematic and/or construction plans is preferred.
  • Ability to read architectural, mechanical and electrical blueprints and have a solid understanding of basic electrical and mechanical control systems.
  • Adapt to changes in the work environment, delays or unexpected events; manage competing demands; change approach or method to best fit the situation.
